Xero and Mars

A little pic of an actoin-ready Xero alongside the newly Spliced Sailor Mars.

Like the prior pic, this is a commissioned artwork drawn by Limeykat([link]), based on the Spliced Senshi story thread at the Anime Addventure([link]).

AS you're sure to have noticed, Xero's Right Hand of Doom bears much visual similarity to the Shell Bullet, the Alter power of Kazuma from the anime/manga series s-CRY-ed. The differences between Xero's Right Hand of Doom and Kazuma's Shell Bullet are more in how they work than their appearance. The only visual difference are the three syringe-like tubes on Xero's bicep - these are his "Charges" which contain the energy to use his attacks. Xero must manually "inject" the energy into the slot on his forearm armor to fire. He can "Dump" a charge, creating an attack much like Kazuma's bullets, or he can use a stored attack copied from one of the Sailor Senshi(Xero can copy any attack from any Senshi except for Sailor Moon and Sailor Saturn). Due to not having a disguise field, Xero has to be very discreet about the use of the Right Hand of Doom. This is not easy when an unfocused Dumped Charge contains enoguh power to vaporize the Empire State Building.

Rei Hino, AKA Sailor Mars, got Spliced, partially, in order to annoy her father - a major Japanese politician who's not a big fan of Splicing. She spent much money on getting several different animals in her Splice, each one contributing in some small way to make her a perfect visual copy of a nine-tail kitsune. Much to her annoyance, small children like to look at her as a "real, live Pokemon!" After Minako, who's Splice had some interesting quirks, trashed her room, Rei accidentally uncovered an ability to summon a small army of multicolored firefoxes, which she used to get revenge on Minako for the incident. Pictured in Mars' hand is Hikari - the "Commander" of the foxes.
